What's a credit? 1 credit = 1 minute of the raw footage you upload, charged once when we process it (5-credit minimum per video). A 40-minute podcast episode costs 40 credits; a 2-hour episode costs 120. That's the only time credits are spent — every clip, caption tweak, re-edit, re-render, and export from that upload is free forever. We never charge per clip. AI Auto Edit is a flat 5 credits per run.

Most "credit games" hide the exchange rate; ours is the headline.
Plan credits reset monthly — that's what keeps the base price low. Credit packs are different: bought for spikes, they never reset monthly and don't expire.
Yes. Start from your account settings and cancel in the billing portal — you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and your exported clips stay yours. No phone calls, no forms, no "contact support to cancel". We may show you one discount offer on the way out; declining it takes one click.
Nothing silently. Cliptica tells you before a job would exceed your balance, and you choose: wait for the reset, add a pack, or upgrade. We never auto-charge overage.
If Cliptica fails to process your video, those credits are refunded automatically — it's a line on your ledger, not a support ticket. For subscriptions, contact us within 14 days of a charge and we'll make it right.
